The Spyderco Paramilitary 2 tactical folding knife features several enhancements over its classic predecessor. The G-10 handle has been tapered at the end, significantly improving ergonomics. Both the handle and blade have been refined to a thinner profile, eliminating uncomfortable angles when the knife is in the closed position. It is equipped with a Compression Lock and an ambidextrous-friendly four-way clip, allowing for tip-up or tip-down carry, as well as left or right-hand options, while resting deeper in your pocket.

The knife retains the high-performance CPM-S45VN full flat-ground blade, but with a lengthened tip and additional surface jimping on both the spine and finger choil for improved grip. The introduction of a new Bushing Pivot System ensures smooth action and more consistent manufacturing tolerances. A larger lanyard hole provides more options for carry.

While the refinements to the overall construction may not be drastic or immediately visible, every detail—from the textured G-10 handle to the CPM-S45VN steel full flat black blade—has been designed to be sharper, smoother, and to enhance both performance and user comfort.
