The Spyderco Para Military 2 features several enhancements over the classic version. The G-10 handle has been tapered at the end, improving ergonomics significantly. Additionally, both the handle and blade have been profiled to be thinner, eliminating uncomfortable angles when the knife is in the closed position.

This model includes a Compression Lock and an ambidextrous-friendly four-way clip, allowing for tip-up or tip-down carry, as well as left or right-hand options, all while resting deeper in your pocket.

We have retained the high-performance CPM-S30V full flat-ground blade, but we’ve also lengthened the blade’s tip and added extra surface jimping to both the spine and finger choil for enhanced grip.

The introduction of a new Bushing Pivot System ensures fluid action and more consistent manufacturing tolerances. Additionally, a larger lanyard hole provides more options for carry.

While the refinements to the overall construction may not be drastic or immediately visible, every aspect—from the G-10 textured handle to the CPM-S30V steel full flat blade—has been designed to be sharper, smoother, and guaranteed to deliver exceptional performance and user comfort.
